PathPoint Promotes Glynda Giverr as Vice President of Ventura County Division

(March 31, 2022) PathPoint announced the promotion of Glynda Giverr to the role of Vice President of the Ventura County Division, which provides employment, independent living, and community integration services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Glynda leads the division in maintaining the highest degree of care and person-centered support for the people PathPoint serves in Ventura County.

Glynda was promoted to Vice President of Ventura County in 2022 after having served as Interim Vice President of PathPoint’s Los Angeles Division for six months in 2021.  For the previous four years, she served as the Program Manager in Los Angeles, overseeing employment, residential, and community integration services. She began her career at PathPoint in 2015 as a Program Coordinator for services supporting individuals transitioning from State Developmental Centers.

“Throughout her seven years at the organization, Glynda has demonstrated passion and commitment to creating compassionate, inclusive, and equitable communities. She is well-versed in person-Centered Practices, and we know that her dedication and strong leadership skills will make our services the best they can possibly be,” said Karen Moore, Executive Director of Developmental Disability Services.

Previously, Glynda worked as a Behavioral Therapist supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities. She holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from California State University Northridge. Glynda is a certified Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) trainer and also teaches Professional Crisis Management. An active member of the community and advocate for people with disabilities, she has volunteered for the Los Angeles Autism Speaks Walk.
