PathPoint Introduces Erica Beall as The New Executive Director of Developmental Disabilities Services

Los Angeles, CA (March 8, 2023) PathPoint announced Erica Beall as PathPoint’s new Executive Director of Developmental Disabilities Services. Erica will oversee services for the 2,000 individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) that PathPoint supports across five counties: Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.  She will lead the organization in maintaining high-quality, person-centered services that truly support people in living the life they choose. Erica is the successor to Karen Moore, PathPoint’s previous Executive Director, who recently retired after nearly 33 years of exceptional service.

Erica began her work with individuals with I/DD in 1994. She comes to PathPoint after 25+ years in the Developmental Disability field, having previously held roles at the Devereux Foundation, The Arc of San Diego, United Cerebral Palsy, San Diego Regional Center, Westside Regional Center, and the North Los Angeles County Regional Center. With thirteen years of case management and resource development experience via three Southern California regional centers, Erica is adept at helping both families and the service provider community to advance the lives of individuals with I/DD.

We’re thrilled to welcome Erica to PathPoint” said President/CEO Harry Bruell. “She brings a wealth of experience both as a provider and Regional Center employee as well as – most importantly – a lifelong passion for supporting individuals to live the person-centered lives of their choosing.” Erica shares, “Joining PathPoint feels like coming home. All of my experiences have led me here and back to my roots in a sense. It’s a dream come true for me and I’m excited to contribute to dreams coming true for both the people we support and all of us who make up PathPoint.”

Erica holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a Master’s in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University. She served as the principal consultant and owner of Advocacy and Resources, LLC, which provided consultation, grant and resource development support, custom trainings, networking opportunities, strategic planning, and board development for service provider organizations who offer services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
