PathPoint Announces Veronica Jenkins as Vice President of Human Resources

Lancaster, CA (March 20, 2024) PathPoint announced the appointment of Veronica Jenkins to the role of Vice President of Human Resources, supporting over 400 full-time and part-time employees across the five counties in Central and Southern California that the organization serves. Veronica leads PathPoint’s human resources department in strategic management, leadership development, operational improvements, and instilling a culture of growth and excellence.

Veronica began her work in the human resources field in 2011. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University, alongside a Master’s in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management. Prior to PathPoint, Veronica served as the Human Resources Director for a network of McDonald’s franchises and previously worked in nonprofit, educational, and human services organizations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Veronica to PathPoint’s management team,” says Harry Bruell, President/CEO. “She brings a wealth of knowledge, management skills, and commitment that will allow PathPoint to continue to offer high-quality services and a collaborative and compassionate environment of professional development and growth for our dedicated employees.”

In addition to her robust professional background, Veronica is fluent in Spanish. She is also trained in pertinent topics from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) such as California employment, labor laws, leaves, wage and hour laws, and professional development. In the Lancaster community – where she has lived for twenty years – she is a mentor to underserved teens and is a member of a local non-profit that provides mental health resources.

As PathPoint continues to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and people with behavioral health diagnoses in living the life they choose, the organization looks forward to the expertise, knowledge, and compassionate leadership that Veronica brings to her role.
