Elena, a first-generation immigrant, sacrificed her education to help support her disabled single mother. Elena graduated high school at 23 and found employment assistance through PathPoint’s Youth Networked Services in Ventura County. After completing both a paid internship and Phlebotomy class, Elena says she wouldn’t know what to do without the opportunity PathPoint provided her for her future.
